Shipping policy

safe ​All items will be shipped the week chosen while shopping.

​We advise all orders containing patties, codfish balls, 10" round cakes, coconut rolls, white chocolate coconut rolls, coconut tarts, coconut turnovers, bread pudding, cheesecake, and cassava pone are processed with next day air during checkout. While we can not guarantee the delivery conditions for any products after leaving our facilities, we strongly urge you to purchase next day air for these items to help ensure you receive them in the best conditions possible. Purchasing 2nd day air for the items mentioned above limits our means, as a company, to help you, should any problems arise after receiving your order.

​Please note the shipping terms ("next day" and "2nd day") are only referencing the length of time your order is in transit from our facilities. For example if you pay for next day air and UPS picks it up on a Tuesday then your order should arrive on Wednesday, which is the next day. If you pay for 2nd day air and UPS picks up your order on a Tuesday then your order should arrive on Thursday.

The timing below is already accounting for delays due to COVID-19 and is a general timeline to gain an understanding of how we process orders.


The total estimated time of arrival from the date ordered is 2-7 business days (excluding Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays).

Due to COVID-19's impact on all couriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.), most orders are baked, packaged, and frozen on Sundays, and then shipped out on Mondays.


In the past we've been closed on Mondays, but are now open only for deliveries to help ensure you get your product as fresh as possible. Most orders placed after 10 pm (EST) on Friday will be processed the following week, following the shipment week chosen. Couriers are scheduled to pick-up orders every Monday, but given COVID-19's impact on services they occasionally do not get the orders until Tuesday.  While a courier's pick-up may be delayed, we will keep packages in a safe place to ensure its integrity is maintained.

Please allow 1-5 business days (Tuesday to Friday) for baking, packaging, and handling before your order is out for shipping. We bake on the premises daily and want to ensure your order is as fresh as possible when it arrives. Please allow 1-2 business days to deliver your order.


We use the following services that should deliver your order in 1-2 business days after being shipped from our facility.
Please note that all couriers' service guarantees for delivery are suspended  for most shipping services because of COVID-19.


UPS (Usually the most favorable rates):

  • Next Day Air - Overnight guarantee, typically by 10:30 am - recommended for all patties, codfish balls, 10" round cakes, coconut rolls, white chocolate coconut rolls, coconut tarts, coconut turnovers, bread pudding, cheesecake, and cassava pone.
  • 2nd Day Air - Delivery in 1-2 days


FedEx (Temporarily Disabled Due to Delayed Pick-ups):

  • Priority Overnight - Overnight guarantee, typically by 10:30 am - recommended for all patties, codfish balls, and 10" round cakes
  • Standard Overnight - Overnight guarantee - recommended for all patties, codfish balls, and 10" round cakes
  • 2Day - Delivery in 2 days


USPS (Temporarily Disabled Due to Delayed Pick-ups):

  • Priority Mail Express - Overnight guarantee


Example:
If you place an order on Sunday, December 3, 2023, the latest your order should leave our premises is Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The latest your order should arrive is Thursday, December 14, 2023.


Please note we are not open on Mondays for baking and general business. We are only open to process deliveries.

At this time, we are not able to ship orders out the same day they are placed.
